About
Wysels are a mammalian species with some interesting features. They have tall fluffy ears, a long pointed snout, a long and thin tongue, and a semi-short but fluffy tail. Their neck and body are both extremely long. They have two pairs of forelegs and one pair of hind legs. They typically stand at about 10 - 14 inches tall.
They are omnivorous, and primarily eat birds, fish, and small-sized game animals. However, they also must have fruits, vegetables, grains and dairy as a part of a healthy diet. Many wysels prefer having a varied diet.
Lifecycle
Wysels only have one sex, and are capable of breeding with any other wysel of sexual maturity.
Wysels give live birth to litters of kits with an average of 5-8 kits per litter. Typically, a litter is fertilized by only one mate, but it is possible for a litter to be fertilized by multiple individuals. In instances where there are multiple mates, different kits will have a different parent.
When a wysel is first born, they are small, covered in baby fuzz, and mostly blind. Typically, their eyes will open within a few days, and they're quick to learn to walk and will be bouncing around in no time.
